Commitment to sustainable lumber across all industries
LeNoble Lumber is committed to being a responsible steward of our planet.
As an FSC-certified lumber supplier, we not only have sourced a top selection of sustainably sourced lumber, but we are also committed to educating our customers about the many advantages of using eco-friendly building products.
For example, LeNoble Lumber has committed to purchasing and distributing only FSC-certified 4×10 lauan plywood. Every single year we sell sheets of Lauan to film and TV productions, which means a significant amount of wood being sold to set construction companies on the East Coast is sustainably produced. Set constructors also use our Pulp Art Surfaces, made from 100% post-consumer recycled material, to create unique wall skins for sets.
In addition to the film and TV industry, LeNoble provides FSC-certified material to architects, woodworkers, and display companies, which all require a variety of hardwood lumber and formaldehyde-free plywood, MDF, particle board and platforms. For our museum and fine art customers, we carry eco-friendly material with little or no added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) to protect artworks and exhibits from being degraded by off gassing.
