Currently Seeking: Part-Time Accountant/Bookkeeper

Responsibilities Include:

  • Entering Accounts Payable invoices into our accounting system
  • Entering Accounts Receivable deposits into our accounting system and customer accounts
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Daily credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger activity and general ledger accounts
  • Respond to customer information requests
  • Perform credit checks
  • Enter customers into accounting system
  • Financial analysis and reporting as necessary
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Scanning and filing as needed
  • Evaluate and report to management on daily work load
  • Printing and mailing daily invoices and monthly statements
  • Process payroll as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Excellent work ethic and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to sit/stand at and work on a computer for extended periods
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and reach/bend to retrieve documents etc.
